Parent/Guardian Information:
All students attending Pittsgrove Township Schools who live in Pittsgrove Township & Elmer are provided transportation to and from school. Parents are strongly encouraged to discuss the bus rules and expected behavior on the school buses. This information can be found below. All students are expected to be outside at their assigned bus stop at least 10 minutes prior to the expected bus arrival time.

Parents/Guardians of students attending Elmer & Olivet Schools should make the Transportation Office aware as to whether they can get off of the bus without adult supervision present. This information should be submitted to the Transportation Office, the school principal, or the bus driver in writing. Students who do not have permission on record will be taken to Olivet School's SACC program and the parents/guardians will be responsible to pick them up.
All requests for transportation (other than home)  must be submitted to the Transportation Office in writing, by email, or fax. Please include your child's name, address, telephone number, and the alternate location address you are requesting. Please indicate if the change is for the AM, PM, or both. Parents will be notified within 3 working days whether such arrangements can be accommodated. Special arrangements must be for a minimum five month period: September through mid February or mid February through June. For mid year changes, requests must be received in writing by February 1. All such requests must be to or from approved designated bus stops. Transportation to locations outside the township is not permitted. NO REQUESTS FOR DAY-TO-DAY OR WEEK-TO-WEEK TRANSPORTATION CAN BE HONORED.
Please do not request any changes be made by the bus driver or aide.Requests for any alternate bus stop locations (ie: a day care facility or sitter's home) must be for at least a 5 month period(Sept - Jan or Feb - June). The alternate stop request must be for every day, Monday through Friday. We will not accommodate a change in your child's transportation for a single day (ie: going to a friend's house after school) unless there is an emergency.
